STEEL MECHANICAL
TUBING PRODUCTS
From standard mechanical shapes to custom rolled profiles, Vanex Tube delivers precision, consistency, and structural superiority.
About Our Mechanical Tubing
Vanex Tube Corporation manufactures four families of ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) carbon steel mechanical tubing from our mill in Niles, Ohio. All profiles are produced to ASTM A-513 Type 1 & Type 2 specifications from a range of carbon steel grades including 1008/1010, 1018/1020, 1022, 1026, 1030, 1035, HSLA, and AKDQ.
Our tube mill's additional forming stands — more than standard mills carry — allow us to maintain tighter dimensional control across a wider gauge and profile range. ID flash scarfing produces a cleaner bore than ID rolling and is standard on specialty profiles. Round tubing is produced burr-free for usable end conditions.
Available finishes include Cold Roll, Hot Roll, HRPO (Pickle & Oil), Pre-Galv G60, and Pre-Galv G90. Custom cut-to-length is available. All orders ship with full Mill Test Report (MTR) documentation for complete material traceability.

Round Mechanical Tubing
Round Mechanical Tubing is a welded steel tube primarily used for structural transport and aesthetic applications.
Square Mechanical Tubing
Square Mechanical Tubing is a box-section steel tube valued for its strength and ease of fabrication.
Rectangular Mechanical Tubing
Rectangular Mechanical Tubing is a welded steel tube used where greater strength is required in one direction.
Specialty & Custom Shapes
Specialty Shape Tubing refers to non-standard tubular profiles like D-shapes, ovals, or hexes, produced via custom roll-forming.
